In 2006, the MissionStars of Atlanta, an outreach ministry of Greater MissionWorks, Inc., wanted to unite with servants of Tifton, Georgia and therefore shared the idea to begin a 'MissionStar Ministry' in Tifton.

Our First Lady, Caroline Collier Dixon, spoke with her sister, Deloris Collier Lunsford of Tifton, Georgia and they agreed to start a ministry in South Georgia.

Today, in Tifton, Deloris has named her ministry 'Tifton MissionStars'.  Deloris loves her senior citizens and has therefore devoted most of her time to serving seniors in need.   Her missions with seniors include:

   a)  transporting to doctor's appointments
   b)  assisting with grocery shopping
   c)   helping with yard cleaning
   d)   chaperoning to various church night events
   e)   hosting an Annual Pre-Mother's Day Luncheon

Deloris is very active with her seniors and looks forward to assisting wherever she 
can. 

As a second mission project, Deloris and her sisters (Glenda & Caroline) and her brother (Joseph) have initiated another 'Tifton MissionStar Project' in the honor of their parents -- Mr. & Mrs. Glendon 'Pete' (Odessa) Collier -- 'The  P & O Collier's Mission Project'.  This project assists Deloris in carrying out all of her Tifton missions.
